Motivation & Productivity

Leadership research shows that “leading from the heart” may contribute to greater productivity. People want to be valued, cared about, listened to, appreciated, respected, involved and connected. People want to find meaning in their work and contributions. When leaders have and use reliable information about their people, individual, team, and organization productivity can increase.

Leaders can better understand their people using our Profiles XT, total person assessment and our Profiles Performance Indicator, a DISC-like tool. They can maximize employee motivation and productivity through placing employees in the right jobs, understanding their motivation intensity and preferences and coaching them.

The Profiles XT measures job fit for cognitive abilities, behavioral tendencies and occupational interests. Job match is the single most important factor in job success. When good people are put into jobs in which they do not fit, their potential is wasted. Yet many employers overlook job match when allocating human capital.

The Profiles Performance Indicator (PPI) is a DISC-type assessment that reveals aspects of an individual’s personality that could impact their fit with their manager, coworkers and team, and their job performance. It is used primarily for motivating and coaching employees, and resolving post-hire conflict and performance issues.

The PPI specifically measures an individual’s motivational intensity and behaviors related to productivity, quality of work, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, adapting to change, as well as response to conflict, stress, and frustration. The output from this assessment serves as an “operator’s manual” for an employee, which helps managers better motivate, coach, and communicate with the employee. It also helps to predict and minimize conflict among co-workers and provides crucial information to improve team selection and performance.
